Official: Bremer extends contract with Torino amid links with summer Milan or Inter move

Torino have officially announced the renewal of Gleison Bremer’s contract in what is likely a pre-emptive move ahead of the summer window.

On their official website the Granata have confirmed that the Brazilian has extended the deadline of his contract by one year from 2023 to 2024, which certainly gives them a bit more protection given the offers they are likely to be bombarded with in the summer.

It is now well known that Milan will sign a top centre-back in the summer and MilanNews are among the sources to claim that Lille’s Sven Botman is at the top of the list, but Bremer of Torino is also up there and they are the two main objectives for the summer mercato.

The 24-year-old could be a great long-term partner for Fikayo Tomori, especially given he already knows the Italian league well and would have likely a lower cost than Botman since he is a couple of years older and this extension may facilitate the exit for a fairer price without the pressure of arriving at the summer with one year left on the deal.
