Nicolò Tresoldi’s father Emanuele has revealed that he dreams of playing for AC Milan one day, the team he supported growing up.

Having been born in Cagliari, Nicolo Tresoldi moved with his family to Hanover in Germany eight years ago, joining the youth system at Hannover 96. In 2022 the striker signed his first professional deal with them, and then made his full debut in July of that year.
Last season, the 20-year-old racked up seven goals and three assists in 34 Bundesliga appearances but quite a lot of them were off the bench, resulting in an average of one goal every 307 minutes in the 2. Bundesliga.
Tresoldi’s Milan dream
Belgian side Club Brugge had seen enough promise, and he moved there earlier this month. Tresoldi’s father Emanuele gave a short interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport in which he talks about his son, who is currently taking part in the U21 European Championship with Germany.
“We moved in 2017, he grew up in Hannover, where they gave him a lot, when they called him up to the Under 19s he felt like it, because he had so many friends: Gruda, Collins, Ullrich,” he said (via MilanPress).
“He feels he was formed in Germany and he has already faced Italy with the Under 19s. However, he is a die-hard Milan fan, his dream is to play with the Rossoneri. Instead he will do it with the Nerazzurri of Brugge.”
Milan were believed to be in talks with Club Brugge but over Ardon Jashari, though things went quiet when his asking price (north of €40m) became apparent.
