Ricci and Jashari off the table?
According to Sportitalia (via MilanPress), there is a new competitor for Samuele Ricci, another profile heavily linked with Milan in recent weeks. Atalanta have identified the Torino captain as a possible replacement for Ederson if the Brazilian were to leave.
The Rossoneri had strong interest in Ricci, but it seems to have faded away. The directors are in fact focused on other options, including Ardon Jashari of Club Brugge, but there is a problem in getting him too.
Above all, the Belgian club have set their demands very high and asked for €45m to sell him. As the Charles De Ketelaere negotiations showed, they will not back down easily from that position either.

Lost its passion or lost it’s ability and desire to go deep into debt on an annual basis? Lost an owner willing to make a loss on the club for his political aspirations? Lost an owner who gambled on a big spend and nearly bankrupted the club? Lost a competent American management who benefitted from good hires and a bit of luck?
Surely the ultimate passion would be to throw a set of locally born youngsters all into the team and cheer them on regardless of how they do? Passion isn’t defined by spending vast amounts on one or two players.

Which is what Maldini was trying to do. Bring in promising young talent and sprinkle in experience to help them grow. Some players you have to shell out for if you can’t scout them. Others will come in chaper.
No one is asking this management to go bankrupt and pull a Chelsea and ManUtd Mercatos. But setting a 20mil limit on players gets you what we’ve seen in the past few seasons – a LOT of question marks and an occasional diamond.

1. There is no €20 million spending limit:
Gimenez was €32 million. Musah, Chukwueze, Pulisic and Reijnders were just over €20 million and a fee of €40 million had been agreed for Zirkzee.
€20 million is the average fee, a much higher average than all but Juventus in Serie A pay.
2. The owners aren’t cheap, over €250+ million has been invested and the club have a higher net spend than the likes of Newcastle, Liverpool and Inter in their time in charge.
3. There is no policy of signing young players only to sell them on for profit.
4. There is no moneyball in play.
When you push false narratives not only does it expose you for the wretched human being you are, it also gives the management a pass for their incompetence. There is no need to resort to lying. There is plenty to criticise the management for – the bad hires in management positions, the firing of Abate, the anti-Italian transfer strategy.

Jashari and Ricci are not worth the price. Get Bouaddi from Lille. He’s a phenomenal player for his age and he’s worth the investment.

Can someone explain me? tigi transfer wouldn’t have happened in one night. Why doesn’t management plan early instead…if you wana sell one player then atleast have replacement in line before selling your star player….we quickly jump on selling out asset before even getting replacement in line and are caught between a rock and hard place…even smaller clubs tend to lock in their replacement targets before making a formal sale announcement of their player….this is same thing that’s been repeated every year..

What’s your point? Tonali and Reijnders were sold for huge profits, no different to Shevchenko, Kaka’, Thiago Silva, Zidane etc. Italian clubs cannot compete financially with the big two in Spain or PSG or half of the clubs in the EPL. This has been the reality for a long time.
AC Milan is dead. It was dying for 15 years, but now it is truly gone. If nothing changes, I probably won’t even be watching next season, and the entire Curva Sud needs to do the same. No money for these crap owners.

Get Rovella even if he costs all of TJs money. Immediate improvement and we will not miss TJ. TJ is a fine player and I wish him well but his defense was non-existent and the majority of his passes went outside instead of into the box. All the times Pulisci made a run inside the box only to find the pass went outside. With Fofana, Modric and Rovella Milan would have a superior midfield.
If they did that, every other club would take them for a ride. They should have agreed the deal in January.
