This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how the latest idea for the midfield is Reijnders of AZ Alkmaar, who has a valuation of around €10m which falls within Milan’s budget for the summer.
The 24-year-old had a very impressive season for AZ Alkmaar in which he played 54 games across all competitions and racking up 8 goals and 11 assists, drawing comparisons with Teun Koopmeiners for the numbers he put up from a midfield role.
Reijnders has been praised for his vision and his technique, being naturally right-footed but also possessing a strong left foot too which means he is an added threat when it comes to shooting opportunities.
He makes late runs into the penalty area and is not afraid to take on an attempt from distance either, which explains his impressive numbers last season.
