Tuttosport: Elliott left perplexed by Raiola’s demands for Donnarumma to renew – the latest

Mino Raiola continues to make Gianluigi Donnarumma’s renewal a difficult negotiation due to the commissions he is requested, a report claims.

Time is running out for the management to solve the contract saga as Donnarumma now has less than 90 days left on his current deal, making him free to sign with another club even despite the fact that almost all major sources have claimed he wishes to stay and play in the Champions League with Milan.

As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) write this morning, the negotiations for the extension of Donnarumma’s contract continue. Milan have made their offer of €8m net per season and no other club has come forward with concrete offers, but Mino Raiola has asked for a big commission in order for his client to sign.

This is effectively slowing down the talks and Milan’s owners Elliott Management are struggling to digest the fact that they have to pay a commission for the renewal of a player who is a fan of the club and came through the youth sector. The next few weeks will be decisive for reaching the conclusion of the saga.
