This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes how a frost has developed between Gerry Cardinale and Steven Zhang. Since the owner of RedBird became Milan’s leader, the two have never spoken ‘at least in public, and there have been no phone calls’.

That’s what the paper claims, while they go on to state that the usual UEFA lunch between the management of Inter and Milan will not be held today in view of the second leg of the semi-final.

It is a tradition that the Diavolo abandoned a couple of seasons ago, but that the Nerazzurri carried on until the match against Benfica.

The coldness in relations could be attributable to Cardinale’s choice to change direction on the stadium, as well as even the international situation between the United States and China.
