As pointed out by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the move to Barcelona has been known for quite some time but during the international break, he underwent the medical tests. Furthermore, Sergio Busquets confirmed the deal in an interview.
It’s very likely, therefore, that Kessie will receive whistles from the Milan fans this evening as a reaction to the news. On the other hand, many fans have come to the terms with the matter, especially since Kessie has continued to do well on the pitch.
Either way, he’s expected to start on the bench and it remains to be seen if he will come on during the game. That would be a perfect opportunity for the fans to boo him, if that’s what they want.
