Tuttosport: Management consider the squad incomplete as Milan eye five more signings

No other club in Italy have been as active as AC Milan on the transfer market but the Rossoneri’s summer transfer campaign is far from over.

That is according to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), which points out that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara want to close a few more signings yet despite having plugged a lot of gaps in the squad.

For example, a right-back who can alternate with Davide Calabria is missing, a central midfielder to be added to the trio of Kessie-Bennacer-Tonali is needed, a right winger is sought and a young striker to compliment Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud – both of whom are deep into their 30s.

Above all though a quality attacking midfielder is wanted to be entrusted with the starting shirt as Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement. There are many names linked to Milan, also because there are several agents who are offering their clients, but now it is more a time for reflections because resources cannot be wasted and choices cannot be wrong.

Maldini, Massara and Gazidis know how difficult it will be to keep the second-placed finish they achieved last year, and that is why they know their every move on the market but be considered.
