As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Radio Rossonera), there are more names than just Antonio Conte and Thiago Motta being linked with the managerial post at Milan.
Pioli seemed to be under real pressure earlier in the season but the form has since picked up and Milan now look more likely to both Inter and Juventus than slip beneath teams like Fiorentina and Lazio.
Despite that, reflections are still ongoing in regard to Pioli’s long-term future and names are being linked with the club.
Tuttosport seems convinced that there could be a managerial merry-go-round in Italy this summer involving multiple coaches, and Milan will be a part of it.
Whilst Conte is unattached right now, Motta is Bologna coach and he seems the favourite to be the next Milan manager.
As well as him though, Fiorentina’s Vincenzo Italiano is a name being linked, as is Nice manager Francesco Farioli, who only has one more year on his contract.
Clearly were Milan to sack Pioli, there would be a number of potential Italian replacements.
