Milan are in a phase of reflection with regards to the transfer window, defining their strategy before making any big moves. However, it’s clear that they will part ways with several players and Leo Duarte is one of them.
As reported by Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews.it, the Brazilian won’t leave on a permanent basis but rather on a loan. Furthermore, he won’t move back to Brazil as Milan want him to gain more experience in Italy and Serie A.
This is the only way to understand his real potential since a starting spot in Stefano Pioli’s side is impossible. Consequently, Mateo Musacchio could remain at the club as he’s already tough to sell as a result of his injury.
In the meantime, the Rossoneri are working to bring in a quality centre-back, having set their sights on Nikola Milenkovic. According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), he’s a specific request from Stefano Pioli but will cost the club €40m.
