Tuttosport: Milan eye midfielder with €20m clause as Plan B to Sanches

AC Milan have been working on the signing of Renato Sanches for several months now and they have an agreement with the player. However, due to the competition of Paris Saint-Germain, they might have to look elsewhere.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are expected to renew their deals next week and after that, they will be able to focus on the mercato again. One of their first tasks will be to try to close the Sanches deal, even though it won’t be easy.

As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have River Plate star Enzo Fernandez as their Plan B for the midfield. The 21-year-old has a release clause of €20m and given his age as well as quality, that could be a good deal.

However, as said, Milan will give it one last try to secure Sanches next week and it remains to be seen what the outcome will be. The coming days will be decisive and will also provide some more details on the matter.
