This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) has their player ratings from the game, and they were full of praise for a number of Milan players starting with Mike Maignan and Davide Calabria.
The goalkeeper and captain each received a score of 7 out of 10 with the latter described as ‘Kvara’s kryptonite’, while Brahim Diaz received the same score as he helped unlock the game with his excellent run.
Stefano Pioli got a 7 for his management of the game, while Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer, Rade Krunic and Theo Hernandez all got a 6.5 for impressive performances, with each of the others getting a score of 6 and nobody below that.
Tuttosport’s ratings highlight just how much of a team effort it really was, with everyone playing their part to withstand pressure and then keep the lead.
