Tuttosport: Milan remain patient in Musah pursuit – Furlani could accelerate next week

AC Milan are looking for one more signing to come in and complete the midfield rebuild after Sandro Tonali’s sale, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan have had a precise target in mind for a few weeks: Yunus Musah of Valencia. However, the LaLiga club are standing firm and continue to demand €25m, with the Rossoneri’s latest offer totalling €20m.

Valencia remain hopeful that some other club will try for the USA international because their president Peter Lim is hoping for an auction. Milan meanwhile remain patient, having reached an agreement over personal terms with the player.

Musah is fascinated by the possibility of wearing the red and black shirt and awaits developments from the negotiations between the two clubs. His will is clear, as is that of the Diavolo who believe Valencia will eventually soften their stance.

The contacts between the parties are continuous and there could be an acceleration over the course of the next week when CEO Giorgio Furlani will be back in Milan after returning from the United States tour.
