Tuttosport: Milan’s striker hunt goes international – Monchengladbach and Ajax stars among six eyed

AC Milan are monitoring plenty of profiles abroad as they look to reinforce the attack in the summer window, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), chief scout Geoffrey Moncada is raking the foreign market for a possible deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard is the first name on the list, a player that has scored goals in bunches in Scotland but is valued at the €35-40m mark.

Breel Embolo of Borussia Mochengladbach is also a target as he can play either as a right winger or as a striker if needed. The Swiss international is fast and physical but doesn’t score much (only 3 goals this season), though he works hard for the team.

In the French league, 21-year-old Amine Gouiri of Nice is a target, a player with great technical quality. The other is El Bilal Touré – a teenage starlet for Reims – who is spoken of as a player with huge potential.

Ajax’s Lassina Traoré is also on the wish list as per the newspaper, while another Eredivisie star in Myron Boadu is another player that Milan have not lost interest in.
