It has been a tough debut season for Milan Futuro in Serie C and with just one game left, relegation play-off has already been confirmed for the team. Indeed, they will face SPAL in a two-legged tie after the regular season has been concluded (final game is tomorrow).

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there will be some movement for the Futuro mercato-wise, which was to be expected given the disappointing season. Among other things, the winger Bob Murphy Omoregbe and the centre-back Andrei Coubis could leave.

Omoregbe’s contract will expire at the end of the season and he’s destined for a move abroad, per the newspaper, while Coubis has ended up on Genoa’s radar. Il Grifone signed another youngster from Milan in January, namely Hugo Cuenca, and they want a similar formula for Coubis.

Cuenca joined Genoa on a permanent basis for free but with a significant future resale clause, rumoured to be set at around 50%. It’s a formula that got Milan a decent amount of money from the likes of Matteo Pessina, Marco Brescianini and Daniel Maldini among others.
