Vitiello: Milan to reach almost 72k in average attendance for 2022/23 season

In spite of the ups and downs this season, AC Milan have always been able to rely on the fans to have their back. The final game of the season, scheduled for Sunday, will be no different with over 70k expected at San Siro.

Milan secured their spot in next season’s Champions League with the win against Juventus last weekend. The Curva Sud were not present due to the insanely high ticket prices (€80 each), but they will certainly be present on Sunday evening.

The Rossoneri will take on Hellas Verona and could have third place to play for, depending on Inter’s result against Torino tomorrow. The Nerazzurri would have to lose for their city rivals to have a chance of leapfrogging them.

According to Antonio Vitiello, there will be more than 70k fans present at San Siro on Sunday and this will take the average attendance to 71.5k for the entire season. And that is counting all competitions as well.
