Max Allegri arrived at Milanello earlier today for his first day back at the training ground, having signed the contract at the end of May. Now, the players will undergo fitness tests ahead of the Raduno.

Milan’s pre-season is due to start next week, more specifically on Monday, and Allegri wants to know as much as possible about his players by then. As such, fitness tests will take place for all players today, excluding those who are on vacation.
As reported by MilanPress, Matteo Gabbia and Tommaso Pobega were the first to arrive at the training ground, while you can see a video of Allegri’s arrival below. It certainly brought back a few memories to see him drive through the gates.

Nostalgia aside, it will now be up to Allegri to turn Milan’s situation around, following what was a very poor 2025-26 season. Getting some new signings will thus be pivotal and the fact that Samuele Ricci was announced yesterday is a big step in the right direction.
