Gerry Cardinale left the hotel just a few minutes ago after a long meeting with Massimo Calvelli, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and then also Geoffrey Moncada.

It was already today that Daniele Longo broke the story of a meeting in the city centre. Cardinale first had lunch with Ibrahimovic and was joined by Calvelli shortly thereafter. Then, about an hour after that, Moncada arrived at the hotel to speak to the Milan owner.
It ended up being a rather long one, even if Ibrahimovic left a little early, as Moncada walked out at around 6 pm. Clearly, Cardinale and his colleagues had a lot to talk about, with Milan expected to enter into a new phase if Champions League is secured tonight.
Just a few minutes ago, Cardinale himself left the hotel to head to San Siro for Milan-Cagliari, and several journalists were present to intercept him. The owner was asked if it was a good meeting, and he replied “Great meeting”.

He also asked the journalists if Milan were going to win tonight, to which there was no response, but one would imagine that they simply didn’t understand his question. Either that or the truth would hurt him too much, which is that a win is far from certain tonight!
