Mario Gila was at Casa Milan on Friday to sign his contract with AC Milan, and you could see that he got emotional as the Rossoneri showed the usual welcome video.

Any player who joins Milan always takes a tour of the museum at Casa Milan, getting to soak in the history of the club. One part of that is heading into the trophy room and watching the usual welcome video, showing some of the biggest legends to wear the red and black shirt.
Gila was present at the museum on Friday, and as captured by the club’s media team, he seemed to get a little emotional watching the video. Clearly, this is a massive move for the centre-back, who has been one of the best in the league in recent seasons.

“I chose AC Milan because they are one of the strongest teams in the world. Their history and everything that surrounds them is what I needed to reach certain levels,” Gila said in his first interview as a Milan player.
It has also been confirmed that Gila will be part of the pre-season from day one, having been named in Ruben Amorim’s 26-man squad. The coach will get to watch him up close immediately, as such.
