Leao was forced to sit out Milan’s game against Torino before the break as the pain in his adductor returned. In agreement with the club, he flew back to Portugal a few days ago to work with his personal trainer and spend some time with family.
The primary goal is to get rid of the pain that has haunted him for some time, making it difficult to be at his best. The second goal, meanwhile, is to have him back for the big game against Napoli on Easter Monday. Right now, that seems possible.
Sharing some videos of Leao on his Instagram (see below), the personal trainer certainly proved that he’s putting the Milan No.10 to work. Whether it will be enough to get rid of the pain is a different question, but the decision to send him back to Portugal seems to have been the right one.
