This morning’s edition of the newspaper Il Messaggero (via MilanNews) claims that Romagnoli addressed some Biancocelesti fans on Sunday evening when leaving the Stadio Olimpico after the Rossoneri’s last gasp 2-1 victory.

The paper report that he told them: “If it were up to me, I would come tomorrow.” The defender has never hidden his Lazio faith and continues to be linked with a possible free transfer to his boyhood team.

Alfredo Pedulla recently reported that Lazio are trying to sign Romagnoli but president Claudio Lotito started with an offer of around €2.5m net per season, then raised to €2.5m plus bonuses to reach €3m, which is not enough. Therefore, a further raise is needed in order to clinch an agreement which might be the context to Romagnoli’s comments.
