The idea of Alvaro Morata returning to AC Milan this summer and remaining at the club cannot be ruled out, a report claims.

MilanNews begin a report with the following question: ‘What if Morata relaunched himself at Milan?’. The return of Massimiliano Allegri to the bench could change the path of the Spaniard, who last season did not exactly leave a good memory among the fans and left in the winter window.
A strong bond
The relationship between the Spaniard and the new coach is one of great respect and the two have recalled it on several occasions in past interviews. Morata himself recently admitted that he is often in contact with Allegri and the coach has never made a secret of his adoration.
It stretches back to their time at Juventus of course, when Allegri considered him essential, so much so that in January 2022 he blocked his move to Barcelona because he wanted to use him with Dusan Vlahovic, who had just been purchased from Fiorentina.
To explain how there are categories in football, Allegri used the example of Morata: “Alvaro is a player for one-off matches, he decides one-off matches. The first time we reached the final [of the Champions League] thanks to his goals in the semi-final and in the final.
“In the Coppa Italia he came on and scored. In one-off matches he is deadly. In life, whether you like it or not, there are categories.”
And again, a few years earlier, he defined him as a unique striker: “Morata is one of the few players in the world who can play with all the players in the department: with a first striker, with a second striker.”
First striker, second striker, attacking midfielder: Morata is perfect for Allegri and for his ability to adapt to the tactical set-up. Under his management, the Spaniard scored 39 goals in 141 games, winning two Scudetti and two Coppa Italia trophies.
However, there is the Galatasaray issue to resolve. The Turkish club paid €6m for the loan until January 2026. Morata’s desire is to leave Istanbul already and Como have also come forward, with Cesc Fabregas pressing to have him as a key man in an ambitious project.
Milan, if they want to focus on him again, will have to find an agreement and perhaps they could run to the aid of counterparts. In January, Galatasaray seemed very close to Emerson Royal and who knows if there could not be a rekindling of the flame.
