GdS: Zielinski interest from Milan is real but the fee is an issue

The interest from AC Milan in Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is real but the €40 million price tag is too much for the Rossoneri, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport today, Milan are genuinely interested in the Polish midfielder from a tactical standpoint.

Stefano Pioli would be able to use him in a number of different midfield roles although he is not too used to operating in a 4-2-3-1 given Muariozo Sarri used a 4-3-3 when at Napoli.

The 28-year-old could prove too expensive though because when Premier League side West Ham United asked about him, Napolisaid €40 million was the price. The Azzurri are famously difficult to find a compromise with when it comes to player sales.

This is a very unusual transfer window though and it cannot be ruled out that the move could happen. Incidentally, Milan are the team that Zielinski has scored the most goals against with four.
