Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed that he will be watching the derby between Inter and AC Milan later with his red and black shirt on.
Both Milan clubs have won each of their opening three games in Serie A so far in 2023-24, putting them ahead of the rest as the top two teams in the league as the only ones with perfect records.
The eyes of Europe will be on San Siro at 18:00 CEST because that perfect start to the season has to end for someone. Not only that, but the victor in the derby will likely take on the mantle of being the favourites to go on and win the Scudetto.
Ancelotti spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport who asked him for his feelings ahead of the Milan derby, with his comments relayed by MilanNews.
“At 6pm we’ll be there, in front of the television, with our shirts on. Will I also watch the other Serie A matches? No, no. The derby is enough for me,” he said.
