Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are interested in signing AC Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu this summer, a report claims.
AC Milan signed Calhanoglu from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee of €24m in the summer transfer window of 2017.
According to an exclusive from Calciomercato.com, Calhanoglu is now a transfer target for numerous clubs in Germany.
Leipzig apparently tried to sign the Turkish international star in the January transfer window, but failed in their attempts.
However, there is also concrete interest from the Red Bull owned club in bringing Calhanoglu back to Germany.
Coach Gennaro Gattuso decided not to allow the former Bayer star to leave the San Siro earlier in the calendar year, and still wants the 24-year-old to stay at the club, but the report claims that a big offer would be tough to turn down especially considering the club’s precarious financial position.
