Cutrone sends message to AC Milan fans ahead of move to Wolves

By Oliver Fisher -

Patrick Cutrone has sent a farewell message to AC Milan fans before completing his move to Wolves.

The young striker will join the English side in an €18m move, while an additional €4m could be paid to the Rossoneri in bonuses.

In the coming days, he’s expected to sign a four-year contract worth €2m per year.

On Wednesday, he will train with his new teammates for the first time, and upon his departure to England he spoke to reporters.

“Reading all the messages from the fans made me emotional. It means that I’ve done a good thing,” he told Calciomercato.com.

“Am I disappointed? Well you have seen yourselves, I have nothing to say. I am always ready and charged. I wish the best for Milan fans and my teammates.

“My departure from Milan affects me as well but that’s life and some decisions are taken. I will look to do my best. Now I only think about integrating well and doing well there [at Wolves].

“I’m ready and excited to join Wolverhampton. It’s a big challenge for me.”

  1. Welcome Patrick Cutrone to the pack were you will be looked after at your new home, we are a family club as is football so as with all families we look after our own.
We look forward to seeing you score the goals to help us achieve what we set out to do.

  2. hey there John Davies as a milanista for roughly thirty years and having wolves as my secondqary team for nearly as long as i have had a fondness of wolves since Steve Bulls era as their attacker in the early 90ies i believe you will love him if he really gets his chance at the Club. He is a great striker in the making WHO allways fight for his team and with a bit more field time im sure he will soon explode as a player on the European scene. Frankly im pretty gutted that he leaves milan and confident the Club will regret it but hopefully one day he will return for us. When that is said im glad its your Club he will join so best of luck to Cutrone and for that matter Wolves as well.
