Following his departure from AC Milan, Paolo Maldini has been offered jobs with both the Italian national team and Paris Saint-Germain, a report claims.
As has been reported by Gianluca Di Marzio (via Milan News), the former Milan technical director is not short of job offers since he was sacked by the Rossoneri along with sporting director Frederic Massara.
Maldini is actually away on holiday at the moment and has not made any final decision on where his future lies, and there is also a lack of clarity right now as to what roles he is being offered by the two interested parties.
Staying in Italy with the national team setup could feasibly be a more attractive proposition for Maldini and his family, but there is no indication as to whether that is how he views it or not.
Many Milan fans were angered when Maldini and Massara were dismissed but the transfer window has since pleased many fans.
will Maldini turn to dark side and join the evil PSG and being the Paladin of Milan for so many years
Thank you maldini for all that you did for milan
The people at PSG have heard about the world-renowned Maldini’s charm and his ability to seduce players into signing and extending contracts with him and now they are trying to bring him to the club so he can convince Mbappe to extend his contract and not leave for free next summer.
It wouldn’t work for him at PSG, he’d clash with Campos for sure.
He’d clash with $umma. He practically kicked $umma out of Milan by signing Maignan early.
If Maldini had stayed in the club we would have zero new players added to the team so far in this mercato. He would patiently wait until the last 5 minutes of mercato and then he would have brought another de ketelare flop like player. Of course, he would have brought back his son to ac milan again and assured that his paycheck is doubled. And he would have brought more of his family and friends like shevchenko or ambroisini to occupy some positions in management. That’s not how you run the club Paolo! That’s why you are sacked!
I think he’ll probably go to the Italian National Team. Makes more sense for him and his family.
Paolo Maldini & Massara was good, but Moncada- D’Ottavio are better.
– Filled long-crisis RW with Pulisic & Chukwueze
– Filled Tonali’s depart with Loftus-Cheeks & Reijnders
– Luka Romero’s wonderkid quality for a free transfer, potential to be club-grown player, because he is 18 yrs old.
– Maignan can go with 100mill euros, but Man Utd withdrawn.
