Di Marzio: Milan want to sign two teenage talents from Verona

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan always have an eye on the future when it comes to recruitment, and they have two young Hellas Verona players on their wish list according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

According to Di Marzio, Milan are interested in signing Alphadjo Cissè and Richi Agbonifo, both of whom were born in 2006 though the latter is a year older.

Neither of them has yet made their Serie A debut, but both have demonstrated their qualities with Verona’s Primavera side who sit 10th in the table.

In particular, the Rossoneri like Cissè who plays as a left winger or second striker. He will be 18 years old in October, and this season he has amassed 5 goals in 19 appearances in the league and cup.

He is also getting playing time for the Italy U19 national team, with whom he scored on his debut in the match against Serbia last October 14th, showing that he is destined for big things.

Agbonifo, on the other hand, turned 18 on January 8th. He plays as a right or left winger, or as an attacking midfielder if necessary.

So far he has registered four goals and two assists in 18 games played across the Primavera 1, the U18 league and the Coppa Italia Primavera.

      1. No no, I mean bargain chips like Chaka who was sent on loan with 10 million option. These kids or rather our whole youth sector is a bargain chip factory. So they can resell them for profit or include in deals for more foreign garbage. Profit and capital gains all the way!

  1. So… First we bought Traore and finally gave him a couple of chances to prove himself and he did that. And he was sold instantly.

Now they want to repeat that with this Cisse guy? How about enjoying the good players too and not sell everyone as soon as the first chance of making profit comes? We need (useful) players too.
