La Repubblica: Milan weigh-up moves for two Lazio attackers

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan are contemplating opportunistic moves for two Lazio attackers in the form of Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson as both have uncertain futures with the Biancocelesti, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Repubblica (via Pianeta Milan), both players have got contracts that are expiring at the end of the season so they are on the market.

Luis Alberto’s agent has always given the priority to Lazio if they want to secure a new deal for the Spaniard, but Milan are aware of the situation.

As for Felipe Anderson, there is actually a chance that Milan make a move in the January transfer window to bring another versatile attacking option into the squad.

This would mean paying Lazio a fee but it would not be big considering he is almost out of contract. Milan are not the only team interested though, as Juventus and Napoli are on the scene.

  1. Are you guys messing with me? Why? Sign Scalvini Parisi Baldanzi Ricci Pafindi Laurienté Dia Soúle Miretti Coppola Colpani Ranocchia Buongiorno Schuurs Carnasechi Okoli Berardi someone from them not luisAlberto and Felipe Anderson for crying out loud

    1. This isn’t FIFA. Cardinals is having the same realization Elliott had, get some experience to balance the squad. Alberto is a good ball distributor alongside Reinjder. There’s nothing special about Berrardi aside he’s Italian. Idk why you guy cry so much for him, I would rather came rescue Insigne from the MLS the Berrardi IMO

      1. alberto is decent but berardi is excellent as well, he has similar stats as our 150m man leao las 2 seasons if not better with a team like sassuolo. Almost no one is more effective than him and always scores against the big 3 as well

      2. “There’s nothing special about Berrard” except he’s been the best right winger in Serie A the last 5 years now 🤷‍♂️.

  2. Luis Alberto would be a great pickup considering the absence of creativity in our midfield and the fact that he has Serie A experience. When Diaz left and the Kamada deal fell through, I thought we would sign Luis Alberto and keep CDK as his cover. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I was also wrong about us going for Berardi and Amrabat (or Ounahi). Maybe the management will learn from their mistakes, but we need CL football to attract the right kind of players. We may be a weaker team than last season, but we’re still good enough to beat Newcastle. Forza Milan!

      1. Well people were imagining RLC, Reinjders and Musah during the summer. How did that turn out? How quickly did that dream fade out….Benny, Deers and Alberto ain’t no major upgrade to what we have currently

      1. What do you mean? Why would Milan need a right winger? We have, Puli, Romero, Chuck. And on loan salad, messias plus lord Origi who can play there.. Even if we say ‘oh, Anderson can play both sides’, we also have the lw covered very well. Waste of money. Alberto is a decent playmaker but A) he is old (gonna be 32 by sep next year) and B) we dont need a foking playmaker. Milan needs a DM (someone like Jorginho, De Roon, Pereira… if we wanna sign an old, exp player.

If they want a young DM to mold into Milan Moscardo might be decent or even Maia, Andre.. Next Casemiro is what we need 😉
