Reports: Milan set for €21m in capital gains as winger closes in on permanent exit

By Oliver Fisher -

Suso’s permanent departure from AC Milan is imminent as Sevilla are closing in on securing a top four finish.

The Spaniard secured a move back to his home country late in January to relaunch himself after a bad few months with the Rossoneri, a club he joined back in 2014. The formula of the deal is a loan until 2021 with an option to buy that becomes an obligation if the Andalusian team reaches the Champions League.

The 26-year-old has so far managed just one goal and one assist in 16 games since his move, and hasn’t scored for five months.

According to Radio Rossonera journalist Pietro Balzano Prota on Twitter, confirmations have arrived from Sevilla themselves regarding the terms of the deal, and the former Liverpool man will move to Andalusia permanently once a top four finish is secured.

This is backed up by El Desmarque, which notes how Sevilla are just one point away from securing Champions League football, at which point Suso will arrive for €21million of pure capital gain.
