AC Milan are continuing to scout in Ligue 1 with Monaco centre-back Soungoutou Magassa the latest player to be linked with a move to the Rossoneri.
As has been reported by Sportitalia, Milan have had great success scouting in Ligue 1 in recent years and that is set to continue into the 2024 summer transfer window.
The likes of Rafael Leao, Yacine Adli, Mike Maignan and Pierre Kalulu were signed from Ligue 1 clubs and 2003-born Magassa could be about to do the same thing if he carries on impressing Milan this season.
Magassa also has what it takes to play in the midfield as he is technically gifted and also extremely strong. It is not yet clear what sort of fee Monaco would want, but they tend to have a high valuation of their players given how much quality has been nurtured there over the years.
The Frenchman has played 18 times for Monaco in Ligue 1 this season and also appeared once in the Coupe de France. He has picked up minutes on both sides of a back four, as well as in midfield.
His market value on Transfermarkt is €10m but Monaco are sure to want more than that when the bids start to come in.

Just buy an experiencet CB and have faith in Thiaw instead of getting another 20 yr old defender, who will inevitably go through the same growing pains as Malick, resulting in the “supporters” calling for his head. Feels like we’re on a merry-go-round. Young players make mistakes, young players need patience. Either give them time, or stop buying 20 yr olds.
yup, thank you. Probably more so for CBs. And heck if you want a young unproven body, just throw simic into the fire. He did ok and just like this kid from monaco, he’ll have his ups and downs. BUT he wont cost a penny
No more random youngsters, we need a proven starting quality CB, like Buongiorno, Scalvini or Hermoso

As for youngster we could try and sell Kalulu so we can buy Scalvini
Magassa isn’t bad but he isn’t going to be a right away pair with tomori like the rest of our CBs are
We need to have more faith in the guys. This is Thiaw’s second season. Kalulu battled with injury this year, it’s a write off for him. But can regroup for next year. Tomori and Gabbia should be the starting pair now and have been good. These guys are 22-26 years old, mostly still young
Kjaer will probably leave which means for the 5th CB, you can either get a free vet or promote youth which will save you some money and spend in more needed areas
You forget pelegrino too. Thiaw incosistent ,Kalulu injury prone . Both should be battling for 4th and 5th choice CB . Good team have 4 starter quality CB . Simic will go on loan if he renew . Next summer i think ACM Cb will be tomori ,gabbia , new CB ( hoping italian CB like bungi or scalvini not random guy from french or germany league ) , thiaw ,kalulu.
