90min: Milan confident of getting €48m double swoop from Lille over the line

With just seven games remaining of the current campaign, AC Milan are planning for the next one as some reinforcement are expected this summer. A duo worth €38m could arrive from Lille, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are currently one point clear at the top of the standings and it seems the Scudetto race will come down to the wire. In the meantime, Paolo Maldini and Rocky Massara are working on strengthening the team for next season.

Two names that have been heavily linked with Milan lately are Sven Botman and Renato Sanches. Earlier today, it was reported by English media that an agreement has been reached between Milan and Lille for the Dutch defender.

As 90min adds, in fact, Maldini and Massara believe that they have secured the services of Botman for next season. Positive talks were held last week and Maldini was able to convince the 22-year-old.

In addition to Botman, Milan are confident that they can secure Sanches as well. The current obstacle, per the report, is the contract but there is optimism that an agreement can be reached. The total cost of the double swoop would be around €48m: €30m for Botman and €18m for Sanches.
