AC Milan are looking to grow their commercial revenues and they could sign a new deal with Emirates that helps them do just that, a report claims.

MilanNews reports that negotiations between Milan and Emirates for the renewal of the contract are ongoing but the airline might have to hurry as some American brands may also show interest in affixing their logo on the front of the shirts.

The priority for the Rossoneri and for Emirates is to continue together though, because the Rossoneri along with Real Madrid are considered the best vehicle for the airline to spread its name around the world.

The contract between the parties expires in June 2023 and it currently stipulates that Emirates pay €14.2m per year, but the feeling is that by the end of the year it will be possible to reach an agreement in principle estimated between €30-35m per year.

That would put Emirates right up there with the €30m fixed yearly amount that PUMA will guarantee to Milan from January 2023 (until 2028). These figures could be even higher with bonuses, and it shows how the brand is growing again in appeal.
