AC Milan midfielder Yacine Adli has admitted that the Rossoneri are struggling at the moment but they have to keep on performing for the fans as well as themselves.

Speaking during an interview with The National in which Ismael Bennacer was also present, Adli offered his thoughts on the season so far for Milan.
Adli was speaking after the 2-2 draw against Lecce in Serie A, but he immediately referenced the importance of the 2-1 win over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
“Last week was a really important game,” said Adli, sitting alongside Bennacer. “We played a very good game in a crazy atmosphere, and we were very happy.
He then moved on to talk about the form in Serie A which has been inconsistent at best this season. Milan are trailing behind Inter and Juventus in the title race and a change of form is needed.
“We struggled a little bit in Serie A these last months, but we know the way is long in the Champions League and in Serie A [Milan are third in the table after 12 matches]. So we will try to keep working and do more every day to reach our goals,” he said.
“It’s not easy every day. But it’s our job. We have to do it and we will do it because, like I said, we are in such a big club and we need to do it for the club, for the fans and for us also.”
Adli has been enjoying a lot more game time this season than the previous year, filling in for Rade Krunic when the Bosnian was suffering from an injury.
