This season, AC Milan have struggled to find consistency in their frontline, so others have had to pop up with important goals, as shown again this weekend.

The story of the season, unfortunately, has been on Milan’s inability to rely on its stars. Both Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic have been in a constant battle with their bodies, and neither has been able to show their best as a result.
On the few occasions that they have been able to play together, they have also fallen below the hopes of them; an unfortunate reality.
However, Massimiliano Allegri has been able to call upon others.
Pavlovic’s potential unleashed
Gazzetta dello Sport, this morning, writes that it takes a lot to wonder where the Rossoneri would be, had they had their attack firing on all cylinders. However, they have not been afforded that luxury.
Instead, they have been supported by Allegri’s ‘unlikely weapons’. Adrien Rabiot does not factor into that group, but it does apply to Strahinja Pavlovic, whose attacking prowess this season has been notable.
He is having the best season of his career, showing substantial growth from last season’s shakiness. Defensively, he looks much more comfortable, and the danger from him is now when he progresses up the pitch.
Scoring four goals this season, he has been decisive on three occasions – against Roma, Cremonese and now Torino. Few would’ve expected this side of his game to be improved so successfully, but no one is complaining.
