Ruben Amorim intends to evaluate some of the young talents at his disposal during the preseason retreat, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Amorim ‘wants to see it to believe it’. Translated into footballing language: before deciding which young players can lend a hand at his Milan and which will be sent elsewhere to develop, the new coach wants to see them in action at Milanello.
Above all, they are referring to the goalkeepers Lorenzo Torriani and Matteo Pittarella, who alternated in the third-choice role behind Mike Maignan and Pietro Terracciano last season and could do so again, pending changes in the Frenchman’s future.
Then there is the centre-back David Odogu, who under Massimiliano Allegri logged just 16 minutes with the first team in his debut season with the Rossoneri after his €10m arrive from Wolfsburg.
Moving into midfield, the academy graduates Christian Comotto and Kevin Zeroli – who are about to return from loan spells at Spezia and Juve Stabia respectively – will be evaluated by Amorim, who has very specific needs for his double pivot.
Finally, Francesco Camarda will be looked at, who was bought back from Lecce. Filippo Scotti, should he stay, will alternate between the senior side and Milan Futuro as things stand currently.
