Atalanta have come knocking on AC Milan’s door for two of their midfielders, with Maurizio Sarri keen to strengthen that area.

Calciomercato.com write that Milan’s priority at the moment is to land a new starting striker, with efforts focused on PSG’s Goncalo Ramos. The outgoing transfer market will be equally important though, and in recent days several enquiries have arrived for existing players.

Atalanta earned over €100m from the sales of Ederson to Manchester United and Marco Palestra to Chelsea. Cristiano Giuntoli is keen to invest part of this budget in Milan midfielder Ardon Jashari, the source adds.

In recent days, the new Nerazzurri sporting director has attempted to sound out the Swiss international’s entourage. At present, neither the player nor the Rossoneri have given any real openings, amid talk the ex-Brugge man wishes to prove himself at San Siro.

Giuntoli is targeting Jashari and will try again, while Sarri would prefer to welcome Samuele Ricci. The Italian’s agent would be open to the idea of his client moving to Atalanta this transfer window.

Atalanta have only made enquiries about Jashari and not yet about Ricci, but that too is a situation worth keeping an eye on, especially with Sarri known to be such a strong admirer of the former Torino captain.

  1. Sell them both or at least one of them and keep Fofana, bring Hjulmand and convince Modric to renew his contract for another year if not two…

    Hjulmand, Rabiot
    (Fofana, Modric,
    Musah/Bondo +
    Comotto/Zeroli)

  2. I’d think keep both and Fofana, I could see him doing well 3421 as a dm. The one thing he does consistently well is recover the ball. Coaches keep wanting him to play as box to box which is not his strength and why he’s caught out of position so often.

    1. yup, every midfielder except for RLC should be kept.

our main issue is attack and then couple holes to fill in defense.

I would get 2 of Trincao/Brahim Diaz/Kang-In Lee and Goncalo Ramos. Zalewski and both Lucumi and Gila and sell Tomori and Estupinan, loan out Odogu.

25M per CB since both are until 2027. Zalewski for 20M.

      1. Watch Kang In play against a South Africa and was wildly underwhelmed. Their speed seemed to completely neutralize him. Same with their physicality.

        Speed – UEL
        Physical – Series A

I realize it’s only one game so what am I missing? Was it just a bad day I saw?

      2. For CAM I would rather get Manzambi and Alajbegovic
For CB I would get Gila or Querfeld for Tomori Replacement and Someone like Oosterwolde who is like Pavlovic
For Estupinian replacement I want Diego Moreira not Zalewski
In CM sell RLC and Musah Terracciano analyze Bondo Comotto Zeroli maybe Vos and Eletu?
        And buy ofc Hjulmand
For ST I don’t want Ramos his Performance was bad for ST . I’d rather get Promise David who will be free and maybe try Etta-Eyong? Also sell Gimenez for crying out loud. If he trusts Camarda then only get Promise David since u only pay for his contract
For GK idk if Maignan will Leave but idk if he does I Want Lunin or Trubin or Atubolu or try for Chevalier?
Putting 54-55m for Ramos seems Desperate same as last Season for the 42m for Nkunku wow just wow this management man…

      1. Jashari is the new Modric, 24, no character but he is a world class talent somehow. “Best player of Belgian league” whatever that means. Hope we get the best player in Singapore league this year, maybe also Armenian.

          1. Yes.

I mean any football player, no matter how old is he, he must know how to pass the ball.

So how to pass the ball.

Jashari, in his 24, still looks on the grass and the pitch and than decided to pass thr ball.

So he, still doesn’t know basics of passing, and can we imagine him to compare to Modric.

You csnt even compare him to Krunic or Vranckx.

          2. Of course you can compare him to Aster (not the same type of a midfielder at all, by the way), I mean, really, there is no need for that kind of
            an exaggeration here…

      2. You’re not watching milan games, at least last season ?? 2 season ago, the headless chicken musah… Last season was fofana. 10x way better kessie.. or at least the old tactician Allegri not use ricci + jashari together. Modric was done with milan, he had long memory with madrid, he will come back

        1. You clearly didn’t watch Milan games, because no one in their right mind would keep Ricci and Jashari ahead of Fofana. Headless chicken, yes many of the posters in here are. Without Fofana’s assists and defensive play, Milan would not even be in the Euro league…and there is no way Ricci or Jashari are better players…what did either do last season????…absolutely nothing! completely nothing! And you want to keep them…my goodness man, wake up!

    1. You’ve lost your mind…without Fofana Milan would have finished further down the table. Ricci and Jashari offered absolutely nothing to Milan…both are completely average.

  3. Of course because Atalante make perfect deals with milan.

Now is time to reject business with them…

No matter what will happen with Ricci or Jashari.

  4. Well, since Atalanta is always pain in the @ss when it comes to their players and is always overpricing their owns, then sure, if they want them – 40 for Ricci, 50for Jashari. Thats it

  5. I don’t believe Sarri is so old that he doesn’t know what he’s doing! I bet he would get at least 50% more out of those two than they showed in their first season with us.

  6. Hope we will keep BOTH RICCI AND JASHARI.
people in their proper senses DO NOT OFFLOAD INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS.

  7. We are always very quick to judge players in there first season. Jashari won Belgium beat player for a reason. And I believe ricci is good too. They didn’t get consistency and there roles were swapped by allegri. They deserve a chance this season be fore we judge. Tonali and kessie were so terrible in there first season too. I remember tonali had to reduce his salary for us to redeem his loan. Modric won’t fit into amorim’s 3-4-2-1 system so why sell this two and waste money on midfielders again when the backline and left wing back is the places we need fix?
