Mundo Deportivo: Barcelona have €16m ready to beat four clubs to Milan midfielder

Barcelona are serious about signing Franck Kessie as they want to add some strength and quality to their midfield, a report claims.

According to Mundo Deportivo in Spain are reporting (via MilanNews), Kessie is one of the midfielders that Barca have put on their radar for the summer, as he is an ideal reinforcement given the lack of a transfer fee that would be involved.

Kessie is aware that the likes of Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are all following him too, but Barca boss Ronald Koeman specifically wants a player with the characteristics of the Ivorian.

The report claims that the Catalan side could even push ahead and conclude a deal in January, as they have €16m available to get it over the line and Milan too may prefer to sell. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are already getting used to the idea that they will lose the 24-year-old.
