AC Milan will sign a talented young defender from Bayern Munich, but there will be a buy-back clause as part of the deal.
A lot of the movement Milan are doing late in the window seems to be geared around signing young players for the future with high potential, and it seems that several deals could get over the line before the window shuts.

Alphadjo Cisse and Yahya Idrissi Regragui both arrived at La Madonnina clinic this morning to undergo their medical tests ahead of signing. Both will join on permanent deals, but the former will remain on loan at Catanzaro until the summer, it is expected.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has tweeted an update regarding Magnus Dalpiaz, the Bayern Munich talent who was linked for the first time on Saturday and who seems to be getting ready to fly to Italy himself.
The journalist said: “AC Milan sign 18 year old right back Magnus Dalpiaz from FC Bayern on loan with an option to buy. Understand FC Bayern will have a counter option to control the player. Deal done by agents Tommaso Inzaghi and Benjamin Dorgathen.”
Dalpiaz has made 22 appearances this season with 17 coming for Bayern’s reserve team and five being in the UEFA Youth League. The teenager can play as a right-back but also as a centre-back or on the opposite flank.
I don’t like these kind of deals. 2-3 year of development for another club to bear fruit of the talent developed.
Right. It feels like a small club mentality to accept these deals. I understand Como doing it, but you would never see it with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea, Bayern etc. Shows that Milan is still a feeder club, despite not belonging there at all…
Instead of developing a player for us , we develop a player for Bayern . If this boy will grow exponentially Bayern will thank us and take him back for few millions…good job…
If Juventus had made the same deal with Bayern, they would have found themselves in a situation where they developed a player worth 100 million but who they would have to sell back to Bayern for probably 10 million. Super deal for Bayern in this case. That’s kind of what happened to Como in the relationship with Real in the case of Nico Paz. They developed a player up to a value of 60-80 million but can’t sell him because Real has a clause to take him back for 10-15 million…super deal for Como…

Why would Chelsea let go of one of their top prospects when their business model is to buy and hoard as many young players as they can?
