Ismael Bennacer made his feelings known in January when he left AC Milan, and now he could be left red-faced.
In the summer window, Bennacer was seemingly on the way out of Milan, but no move arrived. Instead, the Algerian played a minimal role in the opening few games before injury struck, as it so often has for him.

So, when he was reportedly going to be fit again in January, the club were viewing him as a new signing. However, the mercato ended with him leaving, just as he had wanted to six months prior to then.
Marseille was his destination, as it should have been in the previous window, and instantly, he hit the ground running. However, as L’Equipe (via Pianeta Milan) reports, in the past 12 games in Ligue 1, the midfielder has not played as much, seeing only 650 minutes.
So, the club are having doubts about making a permanent move for the midfielder, even if they have the funds to do so, thanks to their Champions League qualification. Instead, the issue lies in his wage packet, where the club are reluctant to give him a ‘regular starter’ figure, considering that he is not that.
It remains to be seen whether this will change, but if it doesn’t, he will head back to the Rossoneri.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, except the “ball knower” Boban.
Another coach and another team that doesn’t understand the extraordinary player Bennacer. Only Boban realizes how great Bennacer is because he heard CR7 speaking about him, even though he didn’t even bother to learn his name.
They could sign this great player for what, 10 million, they have the money, and yet they say, Nah, we good, go back to Milan.
The article clearly states that they are reluctant paying him a starter figure due to the fact he hasn’t played as much lately. Do you know how much he earns pr. year ? 6.9 gross pr. year. He would definitely be amongst the highest earners in Ligue 1 if we take PSG players out of the equation.
Not saying he is a world beater though but not a bad player either when fit.
An average couch potato expert in all his arrogance disputing Zvonimir Boban in comment section. Lmfao🤣
Me, the average couch potato expert, in all my arrogance, isn’t disputing Zvonimir Boban, but De Zerbi and the O. Marseille, along with majority of clubs in Europe dispute him.
But, of course you are going to side with Boban because it fits your agenda. After all you do rate Bennacer higher than Reijnders. 🤣. So highly rated that he isn’t worthy to invest 10 million in him. Hopefully Boban can sign him for the next club he is going to be a director at. 🤣
You spend most of your team insulting the players.
Why don’t you just stop following the club?
Boban gives straight up first hand facts.
Average couch potato: “you’re siding with Boban because it suits your agenda.”
Lmao, delusional as they get🤣
Z: “Me, the average couch potato expert, in all my arrogance, isn’t disputing Zvonimir Boban”
Also Z: “To the surprise of absolutely nobody, except the “ball knower” Boban…Only Boban realizes how great Bennacer is”
Can’t make this sh!t up LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
IKWYDLS : “Baresi can’t hold a candle to Maldini.”
Don’t need to make any sh!t up. LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
You and Boban should not make emotional statements.
I don’t need to dispute Boban,
Olympique de Marseille did. I am again pointing out that Boban, who was a very good player, is one of the worst Milan directors ever, backed up by facts, and he proves that every time he opens his mouth and talks about hie previous employers, who he is mad at because they fired him. Best 5 million spent by Elliot just to get him out of Milan.
It’s obvious no one wants rubbish he also forced us to buy another rubbish now we end up having two rubbish
he had a good season… or two. Being fair, injuries are his downfall. he isnt the player he used to be.
Ben is past his prime. I liked the players when he was fit. Great to watch. Unfortunately he is made out of glass. All those injuries tanked his career and no one wants him now. By the way, most of the loaners will come back since we most of those teams don’t wanna pay for them. Leaving us with many origis. Another redbird success
Origis describes the situation perfectly
Now that futuro is in serie D, origi’s contract should be terminated since he refused to help out milan futuro.
4m can’t go to waste.
“origi’s contract should be terminated since he refused to help out milan futuro.
4m can’t go to waste.”
Contracts are binding. To cancel a contract you need the agreement by both parties and you’re not getting one from Origi. Simple as that.
Correct
But also depends on whether you can prove that he is in breach of said contract..
I liked bennaccer but he was always i jur re d
Milan still stuck with hk.
. Then he trolled over the summer
….
Reality hit him back
Bring him back, he is the only natural tackler we have.
If we aren’t singing neither of Hjulmand, Fredrup or Palhinha, he can be useful especially with a new coach around.
I never wanted him to leave in the first place.
