Of course, it is never easy to see a club reset. However, sometimes it is better to do it radically, rather than avoiding favourites. This, understandably, comes with backlash, but it seems to be the method of Milan.
A complete startover?
Reijnders may only be the first in a long list. Christian Pulisic is yet to renew, Rafael Leao is subject to interest, Theo Hernandez already has one foot (and the rest) out of the door, and Mike Maignan may still be heading towards the door.
Almost half of the starting team. Without them, it’s rather bare in terms of quality and actual coverage. However, it could be for the best. Today, Fabrizio Biasin has spoken to TMW about the situation and how the reset may need to be extreme, as Milan News relays.
