The well-known Sky journalist spoke at an even at the Perugia Calcio sports centre for the University of Football in Rome and he was asked for some updates on the Milan transfer market as the summer mercato draws nearer.

As MilanLive report, he confirmed ‘Botman and Origi are real, real names’ but added that ‘until the change of ownership takes place it will remain difficult to know the details’. Nonetheless, there are still ‘negotiations that can already be defined now’ and Origi from Liverpool is ‘the closest name’ at the moment.

With regards to the midfield, there ‘have been steps forward’ in talks over Lille’s Renato Sanches. He added that Mahrez is an  ‘impossible’ target at the moment, while Berardi is a player the management are ‘talking about’ but he is not the first choice.

Finally, Di Marzio claims that Romagnoli ‘met Lazio 20 days ago for the last time’ but the Biancocelesti’s offer is lower than what he currently earns at Milan and for this reason he could stay and renew his contract.
