CorSport: Brahim Diaz reaches do-or-die time as Milan work on replacement

Brahim Diaz is ready to return to the starting line-up for AC Milan tonight given the absence of Ismael Bennacer and the subsequent shift of Franck Kessie back to the double pivot.

Il Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it) writes how for the Spaniard it could be the last real chance to seal his future at Milan. Behind him in the hierarchy is Rade Krunic, a player that Pioli holds in high esteem and who is eager to demonstrate what he can do in a more advanced role.

Brahim Diaz must therefore demonstrate that he can be consistent in performance levels and that he is worthy of the No.10 shirt inherited from Hakan Calhanoglu, especially given the doubts about his future beyond the end of the season.

Milan are in the meantime working on signing Marco Asensio from Real Madrid to reinforce the attacking options, and it cannot be ruled out that Brahim Diaz goes back in the direction of the Spanish capital.
