Breaking: Rebic has picked up an injury and will miss Verona vs. Milan

Milan have been dealt more bad news, as if it wasn’t enough that the likes of Ismael Bennacer, Hakan Calhanoglu and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will miss the game tomorrow. In fact, Ante Rebic will miss out too.

According to reports from Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, Rebic left the training session at Milanello after sustaining an injury and won’t be available for tomorrow. More bad news for Stefano Pioli and the Rossoneri, therefore.

Rafael Leao is now the only striker at the manager’s disposal, and his favourite position is the left-wing. Most likely, Jens Petter Hauge will get the chance from start tomorrow and that will be a huge opportunity for him.

However, there’s no doubt that this is a huge blow for Milan, especially considering that the injury situation is already very bad. Hopefully, they can work through it and claim all three points tomorrow anyway.
