Marco Brescianini believes he will one day have what it takes to become part of AC Milan’s plans, and he admitted that is the dream he is working towards.

Brescianini left Milan on a dry loan deal after being linked with a few teams from the start of the summer window. It was confirmed he would play for Serie B side Cosenza and he has made 32 appearances for them this season with three goals and an assist.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Monza but he made just five appearances for the second tier side. A relaunch was thus needed for his career and it seems that this latest move has helped the 23-year-old rediscover his form.
Brescianini was interviewed by Tuttosport and he did not hide his ambitions regarding his future and the possibility of returning to Milan to become a key player, with his comments relayed by Calciomercato.com.
“Now I’m thinking about doing well with Cosenza. But I have the ambition to get to Serie A and become a footballer for Milan. As a child it was my dream, now my goal. I have it in my head and I will never stop believing it,” he said.
“My debut with the Rossoneri was the best moment of my career, but it must be a starting point from which to build something important, given that only one in a thousand makes it.
“Gattuso was fundamental, he made me understand what it takes to become a footballer. He is someone who leaves nothing to chance, he takes care of every detail.
“Calabria? As a child I took the bus to go to training with Davide, every day after school we ate a sandwich together. I’m very happy for him, I’ve seen all of his club. He has Milan in his heart and represents another example to follow.
“Idols? When I was little Robben because I was a winger, then Kaka and also Bonaventura, finally I was lucky enough to play with Bennacer who is very strong.
“Am I a mix between Pobega and Milinkovic-Savic? It wouldn’t be bad (laughs). With the right proportions maybe. It would be nice to become as strong as the Serbian.”
