MN: Castillejo’s Valencia move falls through – Milan’s January business likely over

AC Milan’s business for the January transfer window appears to be over as Samu Castillejo will not be joining Valencia, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Samu Castillejo will remain at Milan as the potential transfer of the Spanish winger to Valencia did not go through, with the LaLiga side instead on the verge of signing Bryan Gil from Spurs on loan.

With little less than 24 hours until the transfer window slams shut, the Rossoneri’s incoming operations can be considered closed, with nobody set to join the club between now at 19:00 CET tomorrow.

There will certainly be a reflection made on the January transfer window, as rival clubs have made moves to strengthen ahead of the decisive part of the 2021-22 season, such as Dusan Vlahovic and Denis Zakaria to Juventus plus Robin Gosens to Inter, so there is a growing angst among Milan fans as the club are seemingly only going to sign a teenage striker.
