Chelsea have expressed an interest in signing Strahinja Pavlovic, but AC Milan have a counter-move ready.
Pavlovic arrived at Milan in the 2024 summer transfer window from Red Bull Salzburg and while he had some initial difficulties, under Massimiliano Allegri he has gone up a level and is now one of the pillars of the rearguard.

In addition to his improved defensive work, Pavlovic has also revealed himself to be a surprise goalscorer. This season he’s already scored four goals in Serie A, the last of which was just a week ago in the win against Torino.
Pavlovic: In Chelsea’s sights
According to Quotidiano Sportivo (via MN24), the Serbian defender has been targeted by Chelsea, who are ready to make a decisive move to bring him to the Premier League next summer.
The performances of the Serbia international have caught the eye of the Premier League giants, and in recent seasons they have shown no hesitation when it comes to investing in younger players to build a future core.
Pavlovic’s value has skyrocketed, going from the €18m paid to Salzburg in 2024 to a valuation that today – according to the CIES – fluctuates between €50-60m. Chelsea are preparing an initial offer of around €40m, the paper states.
Milan’s position is very clear: the club do not want to sell Pavlovic and instead are working intensely on renewing his contract until 2031. RedBird’s plan includes increasing his salary to around €3m net per year, to secure the man Allegri considers the perfect fit for his tactical philosophy.

Koni good enough. Athe good enough.
Chelsea can take it…
For 55M
Athe is not a CB and Koni can’t defend by himself. Sell Tomori back to chelsea and buy a better CB. Pavlo is only 24.
Out of all defenders Pavlovic has been one of, if not the, best defender for us in the last 2 seasons. I wouldn’t even consider selling because we wont find the player with his strenght awerness and skills that easy in todays market.
If they reallx need the cash then they should ask for at least 60mil given his age, potential and above all how much money Chelsea spent on players that arent even half good as Pavlovic is
Pavlo was atrocious last season. Not sure what games you watched. He has improved a lot with Max this season and is nowhere near his ceiling so far.
60M LAST PRICE
40 ? C’mon…60 minimum. 70 I say is the correct number .
Strong, fast, offensive & left-footed center back.
Those are rare, and Milan have lacked someone like this for a while. I don’t think we should sell him unless a stupid offer comes in, like 100 million or in that region at least.
Pavlovic is so young still, and he is giving in both defense and offense! He has that Their grinta that we need, and you just can’t know if young talents have that or not.
In this, Milan have been lucky. Keep him!!!
nice joke, he is too old for Epstein FC, have you seen their squad age?
Chelsea only have one cb younger then him in the first team
60m please. That amount it’s cheap for EPL club like Chelsea… Furlani will open the table.. hehe
Andrea Santos to ac milan and pavlovic to Chelsea good deal
Milan play with 3 CBs. If you add in CL football next yr, that means Milan will need 6 CBs at a minimum. 6 good ones. Milan needs to keep ALL of the current CBs and add 1 or 2 more. Any CB sales wouldn’t make any sense at all.
55m and he can go
Its funny how the fans here giving price for our players. Unless they are gary bots. We are milan we should keep our players. They can only leave if insane offers come or they want to leave for salary and less minutes playing. We are not a feeder for big clubs. If the fans giving price no wonder gary will try to make money from milan. Not pursue glory
Those of you calling to sell Pavlo, who is supposed to replace him? Tomori? Gabbia?
His value on transfermarket is 35M euros… the 50-60M evaluation cited in this article is way too high. Anyways, we need additional depth at cb for next season so I’m not sure why we’d sell one of our core cb pillars.
price tag: Bastoni 70m, Thiaw 80m & Pav 40m? Pav = Nkunku?
40m is for Tomori (+ RLC as bonus),
Chelsea director must be realy good @ hypnotic or our director is too dumb
Not for sale – f/o Chelsea…
I’m absolutely sick of Milan selling our best players. Pavlodinho has not only been solid in defense for the most part but brings an attacking option as he awkwardly gets high up the pitch creating Goal scoring opportunities. Can you imagine if we still had Reijnders and Tonali the force we would be. I’m just sick of this bullshit by Redbird.
