AC Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli does not represent a concrete target for Chelsea, according to journalist Nizaar Kinsella.
The future of Romangoli continues to be a talking point among supporters as the 26-year-old is under contract until 2022 and while has been a staple of the team for years, his performances this season have come under criticism.

Romagnoli’s agent is Mino Raiola, who is of course currently in talks with Milan for the renewals of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. As we know, Raiola is a very tough negotiator and with the pairing of Fikayo Tomori and Simon Kjaer now well established, it seems unlikely that Romagnoli can command a huge pay rise.
Chelsea have been mentioned as a possible destination for the defender repeatedly over the past few weeks, but Goal.com reporter Nizaar Kinsella – who covers the Blues for the website – believes he is not a serious target.
“I don’t think Romagnoli will be a Chelsea target, I think they will look elsewhere. They could still get a new defender if Milan redeem Tomori. They could take a German centre-back, there are many of them and very strong ones. I haven’t heard any more rumors about Romagnoli,” he told MilanLive.
