Samuel Chukwueze has admitted that he misses AC Milan, suggesting a willingness to potentially return next summer.
In the summer window, Milan made the decision right at the gong to send Chukwueze out on loan to Fulham with an option to buy. He struggled a bit for minutes at first, but now he is quickly becoming a fan favourite.

After providing two assists off the bench in Premier League games against Sunderland and Tottenham, Chukwueze scored twice past Gianluigi Donnarumma’s Manchester City earlier in the month in an eventual 5-4 loss.
Several sources have confirmed that the London have an option to buy him for around €28m when his loan is up, but that the winger has not ruled out the idea of returning to Milan to fight for a spot in the squad.
‘I miss Milan’
Chukwueze gave an interview to ON Sport (via MilanPress) from Nigeria’s training camp for the Africa Cup of Nations, and he spoke about a number of topics including his parent club Milan.
Do you miss Milan?
“Yes, I miss it. It’s my second home. My family stayed there, so I miss it. It’s a beautiful city, but everyone has to focus on their own lives. They’re doing well, and I wish them all the best, especially since I’m still a Milan player, since I’m on loan.”
Can Milan win the Scudetto?
“They’re playing very well. There are many things that make me think of Milan. If they can keep pushing hard, I think they can win. I definitely know they’ll finish in the top four, because they’re doing really well.”
What didn’t work out there?
“I think I wasn’t given the time in Serie A and didn’t have the opportunities I wanted. But that’s what happens in football: I have to keep working hard and maybe I’ll return to Serie A, or LaLiga, or I’ll stay in the Premier League. English tactics are probably better suited to my style of play than Italian ones.”
What is Luka Modric like?
“I was with the team in the summer and I think he’s one of the best players I’ve ever played with. He’s fantastic, he knows when the ball arrives. He’s simply strong. And he embodies the Milan style.”
And Ibrahimovic?
“He’s someone everyone respects a lot, both from a footballing perspective and for his mentality. When you see and talk to Ibra, you respect and listen to everything he says because he was a fantastic player. At Milan, everyone respects his opinion; when he meets a player, he makes them grow in motivation.”
take him in to be the rwb but more attacking minded with fofana covering his side , tghat would be salaemakers backup unless we can sell him for 26m+. he didnt get many oppurtinites last season but some how he found the net
Fulham has an option to buy and he seems well liked by the club and fans so I doubt that he will come back to us. Besides of that defending is not his strong side to say it mildly so I’ll question whether Allegri actually would find him applicable for his tactics.
I prefer Chuku over Nkunku.
Chuku scored some important goals for us and never found a rhythm because of Puli’s form.
Good player
I suspect that Fulham will exercise their option, but if not, he could be a very welcome addition next season.
And play where? Come on people! Chukwueze is a winger.
so is pulisic leao and salae , granted salae is much more better defensively, i suspect if he returns we will have adpatiations of the formation,

This is far better that Nkunku signing. ALLEGRI said, he does not know where and how to use Nkunki when he was signed. Bad choice by Management.
For Chukwueze, I have been saying this, he was not lucky to get top coaches in Milan at his time. He worked with Pioli, Foncesa and Concecioa. Only Foncesa was able to bring something good from Chukwueze before he lost is job.
Allegri would have kept him if not for the formation change without wingers.but what Allergri doesn’t know is that Chukwueze was a converted Winger, he plays centrally and can deputise Pulisic in the current Allegri system with Wingers turned to inverted strikers. Chukwu is produce far more than Nkunku.
