CM: Bologna intend to renegotiate Saelemaekers deal – two other players could be involved

Bologna intend to try and renegotiate the loan-with-option agreement they found with AC Milan over the summer for Alexis Saelemaekers, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com recall that Saelemaekers made the decision to leave Milan during the last summer transfer window but to stay in Serie A and join a Bologna side who have big ambitions but can also provide him more guarantees in terms of playing time.

The first objective was to return to the Belgium national team and the winger achieved this thanks to the excellent performances seen with Bologna, and now he wants to score the first goal with his new club.

The Rossoblu closed the Saelemaekers operation with Milan on the basis of a loan of €500k loan and with an option to buy set at €11m. Sports director Sartori is convinced that he can renegotiate the agreement again at the end of the season, but the desire to keep him in the squad is there.

The report also mentions that there are a couple of Bologna players that interest Milan too – namely Joshua Zirkzee and Lewis Ferguson – so they could enter the discussions.
